Lockdown Drill Monday 23 September

This notice is to advise you Yaldhurst School Tōtara Tūkaha is conducting a Lockdown Drill on Monday 23 September from 11.35-12.35.

Now that our school has been rebuilt we have hired professional advisors to take the staff through the necessary procedures to ensure an effective lockdown.

Please be assured that the children will be informed in an age appropriate manner of why we are having the drill and what they need to do during the drill.

Please do not come to the school or phone the school during the Lockdown Drill as you will not be attended to. 

If for any reason your child has an appointment, please ensure they are collected before the lockdown exercise begins or after it ends as this practice will be treated as an emergency lockdown.
