Ring the Bell Celebration

Please note that the formal events start at 2pm. The school will be having a sausage sizzle for students and whānau beginning at 1pm. You are welcome to come at 1pm if you wish.

The Yaldhurst School Tōtara Tūkaha Board cordially invites our school whānau to celebrate our school’s past and future at our Ring the Bell Celebration. 

Our original school bell will continue to be rung as it has been since the opening of, what was once called, Yaldhurst School in 1876. 

This celebration is an opportunity to celebrate the completion of our school’s rebuild. We would love our school families to join us as we embrace our past, present and future.

Formal proceedings will begin at 2pm with a welcome by our whole school. This will be followed by a small number of short speeches. There will be a ceremonial tree planting and then a ringing of the bell. From 2:30 onwards food and drink will be provided to all visitors and whānau.
