Rock Band Showcase
On Tuesday 23 August, five bands of past and present AJHS students had the privilege of performing at Murrays Bay Intermediate School’s annual Rock Band Showcase.
The event included professional sound and lighting, and a very enthusiastic audience.
Our brand new band, Flaming Hot Cheetos, took to the stage for the first time, with a convincing performance of “Counting Stars” by OneRepublic. There were also memorable performances from Nexus and 5-second rule, along with AMASZE who performed some of their popular original songs like “Lose It All”, along with some of their new music. Final performers of the night were Where’s Jai?, performing their popular songs “Luna” and “Scream and Shout” to close the concert on a high.
