Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

The PTA is run by a team of parents who volunteer their time to help full fill the requests from the greater Amuri School Community. This is in the form of fundraising to help supply vital resources to enable our children here at Amuri Area School to have the best possible learning. Items / activities that we help fundraise for can include, laptops, sports equipment, all manner of classroom supplies, sport and cultural trips away. Committee meetings are held every school term at the school. These meetings are informal and are well attended along with a representative from the teachers.

Nadia Clisby - Treasurer
Our committee are very supportive and proactive, made up of parents from the Amuri Area. We are always on the look out for new faces and ideas plus encourage anyone to attend a meeting. These are advertised in the school newsletter with the minutes from these meetings published on the website for anyone to read and keep up-to-date with happenings from the PTA.
