With a kāhui-wide focus on "building trusting relationships with iwi, whānau, ECEs and primary schools through to Linwood College", our early childhood centres are fundamental to making our connected system work.
The value of ECE in our kāhui
Within the kāhui, we have been working hard to include our ECE partners with our professional learning and align our values and goals. ECE partners join us at our Week 4 hui each term and engage with teacher only days where possible. We envisage collaborative work between our ECE partners and Year 0 teachers on transition to school.

There are currently nine local ECE who are members of Aupaki Kāhui Ako. These are:
