Pistol Shooting

The Burnside Air Pistol group meets every Wednesday at 4pm at the Christchurch Pistol Club’s range at McLeans Island. They shoot the Olympic discipline of 10 metre Air Pistol.

Our teams this year have had some rather disrupted training sessions due to Covid 19 but have still managed to achieve some good results. Our main competition each year is the New Zealand Secondary Schools competition - The McMillan Cup. Our team of Adam Venroy, Isaac Stark and Lennart Holzenkaempfer were placed 4th in the Senior Teams event. Individually, Isaac placed 9th in New Zealand, Adam 10th and Lennart 15th. Well done to these three boys!

The rest of our group have all progressed well, achieving personal bests during the year.
