Vacancy – Parish of Whakatipu
Fulltime Vicar
The Parish of Whakatipu – in the Queenstown area of the South Island and in the Diocese of Dunedin – is seeking a full time Vicar.
Based in one of the most beautiful parts of New Zealand, the area attracts a lot of visitors – and is also home to a vibrant, welcoming and involved residential community. We see our next Vicar as someone who will both work with us and lead us into the future with God. The Parish is looking for the right person to grow the church, and engage with the local community.
We wish to develop our existing ministry and face the challenges of moving us forward and inspiring us in this modern world.
We have committed ourselves to praying together for the right person to grow our Parish and deliver thoughtful and creative worship.
Within the Diocese, we seek to appoint people who both practise and model prayer and reading of the Bible as they live out the risen life of Jesus Christ.

Administrator Anglican Women’s Studies Centre
Sole Charge/Permanent part-time
The Council for Anglican Women’s Studies Centre is seeking an experienced Administrator to be the glue that holds everything together in this dynamic part time role.
The AWSC Council is a committee of six women from across Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia, that was established to serve and advance the needs of women in ministry and theological education within the Anglican Church.
The Council is seeking to appoint a part-time experienced Administrator to provide administrative support to this three tikanga committee, and to drive the Council’s projects on its behalf. The Council seeks a self-starter with a can-do attitude, highly effective organisational and communication skills, excellent judgement and personal integrity.
*Working from home- must have good internet access
*Flexible working schedule that is project driven- averaging 16 hours a week
*Empathy for the needs of women in ministry and cross-cultural awareness
*Autonomous and varied role using all your administrative and management skill set.
