Find out more about our classrooms to help you find your way around our facilities. Each block is named after a Māori God and within each block is a group of classes.

Rakinui is Block 1  - This is our Junior block housing six classrooms of students just beginning their journey with us until they reach the end of Year 2. The classrooms are named after our beautiful native birds; Tui, Moa, Kiwi, Kororā, Huia and Pūkeko.

Rehua is Block 2 - This block contains two Year 3 & 4 Classrooms Kākāpō and Weka welcoming students from Rakinui as well as new arrivals to our school. Rehua also houses our After School Care, Before School Care and Holiday Programmes in Kea as well as special education programmes held in Ruru. Continuing with our native theme our beautiful birds are taking off!

Roko is Block 3 - This block contains two more Year 3&4 classrooms, Manaia and Paikea as well as Hoiho which is our specialist ESOL room and Mako our designated arts room. These classes have been named after creatures of the sea and sand.

Tāne-Mahuta is Block 4 - This block houses our Year 7&8 Team including three classes; Rata, Rimu and Pōhutukawa as well as our purpose built Technology/STEM room Kahikatea. These classrooms are named after some of Aotearoas' beautiful native flora and fauna.

Takaroa is Block 5 - This block is home to our Year 5&6 students, they are in classrooms Kekeno, Wheke and Pekapeka. This block also houses Tepetepe our school library which is well resourced with a range of reading material to suit our students needs. Fitting for the god Takaroa, these classrooms are named after our sea creatures.

Papatūānuku is Block 6 - This is our Admin block which houses our main office, Principal and Deputy Principals Offices as well as our staffroom. This is the first port of call for visitors to the school.
