The class was given a brief where they had to create an outcome that meets the following criteria. It has to be a 3D sculpture, it must celebrate Matariki in some way, it needs to light up, and it needs to be made from recycled materials as much as possible.

We have seen a wide range of products begin development. Everything from flowers to dioramas, and even a ship!

We look forward to displaying our final outcomes to our parents and community along with the wearable arts we are creating in Technology at the moment.

On the theme of reusing our resources, we had a go at reusing some fruit with our buddy class. We made smoothies from bananas that weren't looking so pretty anymore, but they still tasted great!
