The purpose of the Science Badge programme is to extend and enrich students in science at Level 3 and 4 of the New Zealand Curriculum. Students have the opportunity to study a specific science topic of their choice, in depth. By completing a range of graded activities and exercises, students receive an attractive badge and certificate

Anneliese has a Bachelor of Music (Performance) majoring in singing and has done both classical and contemporary training. 

The Landscape Extension Group has been working on a wide range of tasks to enhance Mrs Dick-McCann’s newly extended organic vegetable gardens.

Casebrook Intermediate School is able to offer all students the chance to sign up to the Maths Buddy programme until the end of the year for a special school rate of $13.00. This programme was used in the school last year and the feedback from students, parents and teachers was positive.  

Our ski/snowboarding trip is now in its final stages of being organised. Details are as follows:

Students registered with Ngāi Tahu are eligible to receive 'Learner Support Grants'. 

Is your child shy? Do they feel intimidated by the idea of public speaking and performance? Do they sometimes find it difficult to make eye contact? Do they just need dedicated time per week to just be CRAZY?! 

We are holding a mufti day on Friday to support our students involved in the AIMS Sports Tournament in Tauranga in 6 weeks.

Private lessons available at school in contemporary singing, either one-on-one or in a group of up to 4.

Monday 7th August 4:30 pm - 6:30pm. We welcome current or prospective family and friends to take part in these workshops. Check out the options available and book a time to come along and learn from our expert students.

Canteen specials in Term Three: Hot cakes with maple syrup, Beef or Vege Lasagne and Crispy chicken rolls along with ever popular Sushi and Potato wedges still on the menu.  

Book the babysitter, round up your friends and come along to quiz night. Everyone welcome, test your general knowledge while raising much needed funds for the school. Spot prizes, raffles, fancy dress optional (prize for best dressed). This is a great night not to be missed. 

Casebrook really values the leadership opportunities our young people can access. Sir Peter Blake leadership day is one of those. 

A number of our students were involved in the Christchurch International Cup Football competitions over the term break.
