On Friday afternoon the students were entertained by Mrs Patricia Stoneman, as she recounted stories about schooling in the sixties.  It is incredible how much has changed and yet how the beliefs and values remain very similar.

On TUESDAY, 13th December Casebrook Intermediate is taking the whole school to Hanmer Springs Thermal Resort. We have organized this ‘Big Day Out’ as a way of saying thank you to our students for their positive attitude and commitment towards our school community this year.

Due to popular demand! Our student leaders have worked with our staff PB4L team to create the second family-focused 'REP in the Home' challenge. 

On Saturday 5th November, five girls from the Korean Dance Group entered the K-Pop Competition which was held in town on the Dance-o-mat and organised by the Korean Society.

I am Joy, the eldest of the children of happiness in its purest form. My siblings Sunny and Harmony, select groups of people to spread the laughter across the globe as it turns steadily around the sun.  

Casebrook held an assembly last Friday to commemorate our 50th year in education in the community.

It is a really busy time of year with athletics and Top Team keeping our next REP badge assembly on hold until Tuesday 22nd November.

On October 1st, three Casebrook students and myself, along with two students from Cobham Intermediate were given the opportunity to go on a cultural trip to Japan. We stayed at three different areas - Tokyo, Iwate and Nagano, and experienced living in Japanese houses with three homestay families for two nights each. 

Thursday 24th November Casebrook Intermediate are hosting the Totaranui Cluster Celebration on the front field. 

A group of students took part in an activity based on Antony Gormley's permanent artworks STAY, located at Ōtākaro Avon River and the Arts Centre.
