As you are aware, nominations were called for the position of Student Representative on the Board of Trustees 2020 - 2021

School examinations for all senior students will be taking place from Wednesday 14th October to Tuesday 20th October. These examinations are up to 3 hours in duration and are held both in the morning and afternoons on all days.

School will finish at 12.10pm on Friday 16th October to accommodate our incoming 2021 Year 9's for orientation and testing.

On Thursday 24th September three Year 13 Geography students, Aki Gillespie, Emily Brown and Catalina Heale had the opportunity to share their research findings to a full council meeting of Environment Canterbury.

On Friday, 18th September, the CGHS Aerobics team travelled down to Dunedin for the 2020 NZCAF National Schools Aerobics Championships.

Ella Meikle, Year 10, represented CGHS at the CISS Snow Sports Championships at Cardrona ski field over the weekend.

The CGHS 1st XV won the UC Cup on Wednesday afternoon, beating Avonside Girls' High School.

On Wednesday the annual CGHS Badminton Championships were held in our gym. The players were contesting for the Junior Singles and Senior Singles titles.

The CGHS PTA Secondhand Uniform Shop opens once a month on a Saturday from 12-1.30 pm for both sales and receiving. EFTPOS is available. The shop will be open next on Saturday 7th November.

The CGHS PTA invite you to come to their next meeting on Monday 12th October, 6-7pm in Café 101.

The Christchurch Girls’ High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora Board of Trustees will be meeting at 5pm on Tuesday 27th of October in Room 104.
