How to print from your device

Follow these instructions to print from your laptop to a school printer

Printing from a BYOD in Colour OR black/white)

IMPORTANT: To print you need to have print credit. If you don’t, go to the office.

A. If you are printing a document (.doc) you need to turn it into a .pdf file (choose File - Download as, pdf, and remember where you have saved it to e.g. your Desktop). Other file types like .jpg and .png are OK as they are.

B. Go to the URL for Papercut or click on the Icon on the Student page

C. Then:

  1. Sign in to Papercut with your school username and password

  2. Choose Web Print from the left-hand side

  3. Choose “Submit a job”

  4. Select “cghs\PrintAnywhere to print in BLACK AND WHITE OR Select “cghs\PrintAnywhere Colour ” to print in COLOUR. **Choose carefully as colour costs $0.60 per A4 and b/w costs $0.20

  5. Choose “2. Print Options”

  6. Add in the number of copies you want to print - usually this is only ONE

  7. Choose “3. Upload documents”. Remember that it must be a .pdf unless it is a picture file (.jpg, .tiff, .png etc). Then wait until it has submitted the job.

  8. Print. It will be available for release on a school printer. Simply log in to them with your username and password as usual and select Print
