Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern sent a message to our graduates of 2021.

It’s that time of year…… Most students notice some anxiety and tension at the thought of sitting exams. Feeling anxious about assessment is normal, and to be expected. A moderate amount of anxiety may not be a bad thing as it can sharpen concentration and performance, helping us to create extra energy and momentum needed to keep us studying (even though we might prefer to be doing something else!)

Over $1300 was raised for Breast Cancer Awareness Christchurch Girls' High / Te Kura o Hine Waiora 2021 Pink Day.

The Senior Theatresports Team has continued its tradition of success, performing with style and flair in the recent final of the Court Theatre Competition.

On Sunday 31st October, two teams of wonderful junior actors participated in the Junior Theatresports competition organised by The Court Theatre.

Every year, students in Year 12 are offered the opportunity to compete in the May Campbell Anderson Competition by completing an additional English exam.

Our Global Relations Group raised over $800 to donate to local charity, Christchurch Resettlement Services.

This annual competition is run by the English department and requires students to answer an essay question with reference to Shakespearean texts.

Congratulations to Annabel Diprose, Y9, who competed in the Canterbury Schools Orienteering Championships on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th November 2021.
