ABL with Burnside High School
A community and contributing-school initiative!
Every year, as a part of the Year 13 Sports Leadership Programme, Burnside High School offers the Year 7 Cobham Intermediate students an opportunity to take part in an Adventure Based Learning day at Jellie Park. This year it was held on 8th April 2019 with Rms 11, 12, 17 & 24 taking part. This day is always free of charge and is run entirely by the Year 13 students.
Like every other year, it has been a big hit where the students learned a lot about the connection between team-work and fun! It was also an opportunity for one and all to connect with our community and, for the fresh Year 7 students, to get a taste of the opportunities offered in high school.
