In two weeks time the Year 7-13 school campus will be welcoming an enthusiastic group of volunteers to help set up for one of our major College fundraising events. Are you able to join our team?

In our first session, we glued skinny strips onto wide strips, then weaved the coloured paper to create our own amazing designs. We think our unique weaving images look awesome.

Our annual school Cross Country is fast approaching - Wednesday, 3rd April, at Bishopscourt. Fingers crossed for beautiful sunshine, however, a decision will be made at 7:30am to postpone if need be. If the weather is not favourable, students will attend school as normal and the rescheduled date will be Thursday 4th April.

Last Friday 15 March, Annabel, Elodie, Linda and Charlotte represented the Junior School at the 'Otago Lit Quiz' competition.

It was a weekend of success for a number of past and present Columba students who participated in the National Surf Lifesaving Championships in Mt. Maunganui over the weekend. Congratulations to our Golden athletes shining bright in the world of Surf Lifesaving!

Last Friday the Junior School students attended their first Chapel service led by our Year 6 Chapel leaders (Samuel, Maya, Charlotte and Elodi along with our two Chaplains, Rev Andrew Barlow and Chaplain Kim Park.

Columba College Senior A Touch Team won the South Island title in convincing style this past weekend in Christchurch.

Last year Charlotte (now Year 6) created Helpful Little Hands - a way to raise money for Presbyterian Support Otago (PSO).

Columba College continues to be inspired by our young women achieving great things in sport outside the ‘mainstream’. Often self-funded, and requiring extra levels of self-motivation, these athletes are hard-working, talented, and incredibly passionate about their chosen sport.
