This week we have celebrated one of the highlights of the Columba College year – Cultural Week! Kaimahi and ākonga came together to celebrate all the diverse cultures that make up the Columba Community.

The focus of Agribusiness field trips this year has been to do short trips to interesting places within 15-30 minutes around Dunedin.

From the 1st to the 5th of June one of our Year 13 students, Kayla, attended the U19 National Basketball Tournament Team in Christchurch representing Otago A.

Leading from the front and never looking back, our Columba College Senior A Badminton team was phenomenal at the SISS Championships last weekend.

The Otago Nuggets and the Southern Hoiho professional Basketball teams will be hosting our July School Holidays Camp.

The Columba College Sports Council is excited to announce that a date has been set for the annual Golf Day school fundraising tournament! This year, the tournament has been set for Friday 13th October, at the St. Clair Golf Course and we invite you all to be part of our important Columba Community fundraising event!

Columba College winter sport is in full swing and the school has teams participating in a varied number of sports across the week. Outdoor and indoor sporting options on offer to all students, the participation rate at Columba is excellent and we are always encouraged by how many students sign up to play sport each term.

Columba College entered three teams in the Sport Otago Virtual Triathlon held at Forsyth Barr Stadium on Tuesday 20th June. A fantastic initiative, where teams compete 'virtually' against each other and compete for the fastest time on the day!
