Principal Pānui - Week 9 2023
Tēnā Koutou Katoa,
Next Thursday on Hero we will ‘make live’ information in relation to your child's progress in Statistics and the Key Competencies.
It was great to get along to a Parents Association Meeting on Tuesday, a neat group of people looking to add to the fabric of our School. If you are community minded and wondering how you can assist with your school and what we can offer our tamariki perhaps the PA is something you could contribute too.
If you have a preschooler you intend to enrol at Cotswold Mātāhae later this year, or in 2024, it is really important that you enrol them now so we can predict our roll numbers for the future. Please complete an online Enrolment Form as soon as possible and Marie will be in touch with you.
Congratulations to the 12 members of the Cotswold Mātāhae Team who competed in the inaugural Tōtoranui Kāhui Ako eSports Minecraft Speed Build Challenge on Friday.
They did an amazing job and should be very proud of their efforts, special mention to Harrison, Eli, Kayson and Joshua for taking out first place for ‘Best Story Telling Build’.

Library Catalogue from Home
Do you know you can check what your child has out and use the Library catalogue from home?
From any computer with internet access you can look up books and also login and check your child’s library record to see what they have out.
To do this:
· Visit the Cotswold Mātāhae School website.
· Under School info click on the Library
This takes you to the Library webpage where you can search our catalogue.
You can also log on and this gives access to the students borrowing information.
The student’s library number is needed to log on. Please contact Lynda Collins on library@cotswold.school.nz for this information or get your child to ask for it the next time they are in the library. No password is needed.
Breakfast Club
Just a reminder Breakfast Club is on every morning from 8.30 - 8.45am in the Tech Room located at the back of the Hall. Remember to come and get your yummy weetbix before school to fuel your brain for a big day of learning.

The sale will continue this afternoon from 2.45am - 3.15pm so if you missed out this morning check it out this afternoon!
Any remaining items can be purchased from the School Office at any stage. Please remember you must pay in cash for second uniform purchases.
Lost Property

Please come in and check for any missing uniform or non uniform items in our Lost Property Box before 3pm next Thursday.
If the weather is favourable we will display the lost property outside the Hall one afternoon next week.
