Principal Pānui - Week 2 2023

Tēnā Koutou Katoa,

I hope you enjoyed the Waitangi Long Weekend and our beautiful summer weather.

Our Start Up Party was a great success, and a treat to be involved with.  The children got stuck in and seemed to enjoy the differing activities around the field.

An exciting week ahead for our Year 6 cohort as they head off for a fun filled week at Camp Waipara next week.   My thanks to the Year 6 teachers for the preparation and commitment towards their learners and the parents who have volunteered to make the camp a roaring success I am sure.

Please leave a space for the buses to park on Cotswold Avenue on Monday morning, and Thursday afternoon, for the pick up and drop off of our campers.

Also an exciting few days for our Year 5 Cohort with the Year 5 Sailing and Water Confidence Activities out at Lake Rua next week.  Hopefully the weather continues to play its part and it is a successful activity.

Its important to remember that none of the many EOTC activities that we look to offer at Cotswold Mātāhae would be possible without parents and caregivers contributing both financially and by volunteering their time.  Again thanks for your on-going support so we can continue these valuable EOTC activities for future students.

If I can be of any assistance please do make contact.

Ngā mihi nui

Chris

PYDT is all about encouraging young people to be all they can and we are very excited to have them as part of our Cotswold Mātāhae Team.

More information about them can be found at www.pydt.org
