Michigan Tech Concert Choir  - 14 May 2024 @ St Paul's Cathedral.

The Michigan Tech Concert Choir is visiting Dunedin on Tuesday 14 May to perform a concert at 7pm at St Paul's Cathedral.

They are hoping that we can fill St Paul’s Cathedral and have asked that all money raised by ‘Koha’ entry be donated to a local charity. We are pleased to announce that we have chosen Dunedin Night Shelter as that Charity.

It would be great if you would be able to join us on the night, and even more important, whether you would help spread the word by circulating the below information and attached poster to all your contacts.

Father Tony and I look forward to welcoming you to St Paul’s to celebrate the wonderful work done by everyone involved at the Dunedin Night Shelter.

Deborah

Office Manager, St Paul's Cathedral.

Regen24 is about Transforming Hearts, Equipping People and seeing Communities Transformed.

Main speakers:

Andrew Katay Church planter and leader of Christ Church inner City West with 5 churches in his team

Dr Nathan McLellan CEO of Venn Foundation leader in gospel contextualisation for young adults.

Julie-anne Laird church planting leader and evangelism trainer in Melbourne.

Plus seminars on evangelism, leading for growth, decision-making, prophecy, theological training, preaching for change, and more….

Fraser writes

"If you and your church people:

1) are pushing to the point of exhaustion - you all need to come

2) are struggling for encouragement - you need to come

3) need a new fire for the gospel - you need to come

4) need to see the wood for the trees - you need to come

5) have been holding back and not committing because you need space in your crowded diary for 'you-time' - you need to come. (Busy is as busy does.)

This is a time for us to come together to create a new positive narrative for the future of the Church in Aotearoa New Zealand:

1) We are on the same side - Regen24 is about Jesus and not how successful you feel or don’t feel

2) We are in this together. Mutual co-operation is vital in order to advance the kingdom. No one Christian, church, denomination or leader has all the answers but together we can learn something new.

3) Churches equipped together become far more effective when going home

4) We set aside time from the work of the gospel to be equipped to be more effective for the gospel. We get a wider and more grace-filled perspective.

An investment of your time and finances in Kingdom and gospel equipping will never be ignored by the Lord Jesus Christ.

Church, listen to the word of the Lord in Ephesians 5:14 "Wake up O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” We need to do 3 things: 1) Stop sleeping, 2) Wake up, 3) Rise from our grave of despair. Then God will do the best thing: He will shine on us. Paul says Live as children of Light (Eph5:8). Together we can become a beacon of hope to a Church that is rapidly losing hope, and a means by which hope is restored to the Body of Christ. Jesus has not rejected his bride."
