Our Year 7 school camp was a great success where students built life long memories together.

I would like to acknowledge the many students who contribute to a positive school culture. It's difficult to name them all, however, I continue to be amazed with the energy and excitement that is visible at various school events, not to mention the display of talent!

It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as Dulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design’s new Head Teacher of Wellbeing. My name is Melissa Bean, and I bring with me over 20 years of experience in public education.

On Monday 1 May we had our annual whole school Athletics Carnival. The weather was beautiful, and we had an enormous number of students participate in events.

Our Art Faculty has had a busy Term 2 so far, with the commencement of our Artstream interview program. We are also excited to report one of our talented students, received an AGNSW Young Archie award and many of our students recently participated in some fantastic art workshops.

On Friday 19 May, Mr Cooper along with several admirable students shaved their head or died their hair as part of The World's Greatest Shave charity drive.

Our P&C has been involved in many recent events such as the State Election BBQ held on our school grounds, a life drawing event, and inside Art Express private tour and the P&C Executive Walk on Country (teacher training day)

Our Support Unit students have been fully engaged across their KLA’s in areas of teaching and learning. They have also had weekly opportunities to explore the community which means they are engaging with content that is delivered both in the classroom and the external environment.

The Second Performance Club excursion was exclusively for Year 12. The group went to see Nathan Maynard’s At What Cost.
