NB: November '21-February '22

It has been a challenging year, no doubt about it. Thank goodness for books to escape to! This issue we've got recommended reads for just about everyone, including a delicious pile of children's books from our Continued Sense of Wonder book club as well as new arrivals from the City Library Youth Team. This is just as well, because our Children's Summer Reading programme opens on 1st December, with a raft of exciting activities to get the kids reading over the holidays, including a virtual escape room! And not to be outdone, there's a reading challenge for adults too, with a special twist in celebration of the upcoming ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2022.

We welcome the Southern Heritage Trust's Heritage Festival in November, with an exciting programme of talks and tours, celebrating both past and future of Dunedin's built heritage.

And if you're looking for a spot of vicarious travel without the need for quarantine, why not pack your imaginary suitcase and take a tour of the world with our ExQUIZite Earth quiz?
