Midway through the year, we said goodbye to our incredible Chairperson, Tara, and welcomed Annika into the role, alongside many enthusiastic new and returning members. We also farewelled Emma, whose dedication and work ethic were truly unmatched, and Kerrina, who did an amazing job running the second-hand uniform shop and supporting our events. Their contributions will be sorely missed.

We’re excited to welcome Emilyas our new secretary and Jess who has taken over running the uniform shop. Special thanks to those who stepped up to lead different initiatives—Marina with sausage sizzles and scholastic books, Adri as class rep coordinator and deputy chair, Paul taking on Family Fun Day with Kelvin & Yadi and the whole subcommittee, Joan joining Anna H.in managing pool key sales. We also want to acknowledge Donna and Anna A for running Subway and Sushi so smoothly. Special thanks also to Amie for running the MLGT again this year.

Last year, ENSCA organised a variety of events, including sausage sizzles, Hot Cross Bun and Spring Bulb sales, the School Disco, Family Fun Day, Movie Night (Despicable Me 4), Parents Social and the Year 6 graduation. We were also grateful to receive a generous donation of food for the graduation from Alesha at Blinkhorne Foods. A huge thank you to all the amazing volunteers in our school community—your time, effort, and enthusiasm make these events possible.

Through these efforts, we raised significant funds and made the following contributions:

• $10,565 for the swimming pool

• $6,000 for resources, including an extra $500 for new maths materials ($2,000 for each team—Kiwi, Tui, and Ruru)

• $8,640 for new kapa haka outfits

• $12,000 for a shade sail for the new junior playground

• $10,000 towards TV/interactive whiteboards for the new Mātai building

• $1,000 for the sensory centre

• $1,500 to the library for new books
