Year 10 Market Day

Monday 30th October, and Wednesday 1st November Year 10 Economics and Enterprise students (EES) made magic where business planning and lots of hard work culminated in successful sales and lots of fun.

Students of 10EES are learning ‘how people seek and have sought economic growth through business, innovation and enterprise’; their market day reflected this. The atmosphere was electric as students and teachers were spoilt for choice. A great range of tastes and preferences were catered for including innovative and enterprising products ranging from Brookies (brownies/cookies), Tteok-bokk, Sushi, Sundae with Cookie Dough, Cotton Candy, Cookie and Coke, to original art!

Wet and windy conditions did not stop young entrepreneurs and consumers enthusiastically engaging in selling and buying. Corporate social responsibility was shown with a percentage of profits being donated to a charity. It was a great day of learning and fun, thanks to enthusiastic entrepreneurs.

Many thanks to all stallholders and supporters.
