Term 4 Cricket

Our cricketers have had a great Term 4 season with our girls and junior development boys putting out some good performances. Our First XI boys have again qualified for the Division 1 final which is to be played this weeked.

Some standout performances throughout the season have come from Teaghin Strawbridge (25n.o. v Otorohanga), Makayla Reilly (25 v Waikato Dio, 32 v Rototuna, 51* v Fairfield and 3 wickets v Otorohanga) and Caleigh Edwards (2 wickets v Fairfield) for our girls team. Our junior development top performances have been Cadel Hughes (31* v St Johns), Omar Shakib (33 v St Pauls), Avjot Gandham (31* v St Johns), Jai Magesh Arun Kumar (36* v Cambridge), Adan Riaz (4 wickets v St Johns) and Chamod Wijesinghe Arachchilage (3 wickets v St Johns). 

For our boys First XI, Hemanth Akula (4 wickets v Hauraki Plains), Jamie Kennedy (53 v St Peter's), Bakhtuallah Khawrin (59 v St Peter's), Saber Khawrin (65* v Te Awamutu, 52 v Cambridge, 6 wickets v Cambridge) have had outstanding performances in Term 4. 

A big thanks to our coaches Rebekah Gunn, Luke Kennedy and Duminda Indika plus all the parents who have contributed towards a successful season.
