It has been a wonderful year full of laughter and learning. Each and every one of our mentors was fully committed for the full three terms of the program, which is very impressive and shows how supportive they are of their fellow year 9 students.

Only three more weeks as Year 9’s, my how time flies! Since our senior students have begun their exam leave, it has been great to see our Year 9’s stepping up as leaders in the Junior school. When moving around the school it is noticed that our Year 9’s are focused and engaged in their work and making the most of these last few weeks.

The Summer Learning Journey (SLJ) is a free online blogging programme that has been created with the purpose of helping your children avoid the "Summer Slide" and keep their reading and writing skills up during the summer break.

Uru Manuka Education Trust is very excited to be approved as an UpstreamNZ Good Cause. UpstreamNZ is a website that empowers us to generate income for the trust and put this funding towards wellbeing projects in our schools.

We are aware that a number of students are arriving at school each day without a Chromebook.

The App can be used to access the parent portal, check the daily notices, check attendance and is the quickest and easiest way to notify us of an absence.
