Visit this articleThe course will be temporarily unavailable from 30 May. Eke Panuku are undertaking some drainage works on Avondale Central Reserve. This will involve contractors installing a temporary fence around the Learn to Ride course from Monday 30 May. Drainage is being improved within the grassed area around the course to better manage flooding events. The Learn to Ride hard surface will not be dug up or removed. The works will take one week (weather dependent). Eke Panuku are Auckland Council’s urban regeneration agency, leading the revitalisation of Avondale. They work closely with the Auckland Council whānau and other partners to deliver new housing, public spaces and transport connections for locals.
