John McGlashan College recorded an historic 17-15 victory against Otago Boys’ High School in the Otago final of the National First XV Championship.

The Year 12 PE camp was an exhilarating success with some great snow dumps which we got stuck into. The class skied and snow-boarded at Treble Cone for three days early in term three while staying in the outstanding Glendhu Bay Camp.

John McGlashan has made the finals of the Otago Secondary Schools football league premier division competition for the first time in several seasons, following an extra-time 4-3 victory over Kavanagh College.   

It may be hard to believe, but all sorts of problems can be solved and all sorts of questions answered with a little bit of maths.

On Saturday August 6th the Otago and Southland Primary and Intermediate Schools' Individual Chess Championship was held at the Otago Chess Club.

There can be no argument, no doubt, no second guessing. 

The John McGlashan College Year 7 and Year 8 hockey, rugby and football sides gathered at the college in very cold conditions.

The Balmacewen sports interschool is a yearly highlight for John McGlashan College boys. 

Eleven Year 7 and 8 John McGlashan boys enjoyed participating in the Ariki cup held at Kettle Park on 3rd August 2016.

Exam fees for all domestic students sitting NCEA this year are set at $76.70 incl per student. This will be charged to term 3 accounts.
