Year 10 student Anne Barker has been volunteering for the West Coast Riding for the Disabled every Wednesday this year.

Well done to our students who were selected for and competed in representative teams during the holidays.

Thanks to the students, parents and Whānau that attended our information evening last night.

On Tuesday, several students helped conduct the Kids Vote for the upcoming election. It was a day that was worthwhile and taught the students how the electoral process and the counting of the results work.

During the school holidays Noah competed in the Yunca Junior Tour of Southland against the best 25 under-15 riders in the country.

Serena Moles and Carrie Vaughan from the Mayor’s Taskforce for Jobs will be coming into School to meet with students who would like support getting employment.

On Wednesday we had Josh Ashworth from the NZ Defence Force come in and talk to students about careers in the Army, Navy and Airforce.
