Glacier Joinery Ezy/Kitchens have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Joiner to join our small team in Hokitika.

The Apprentice will gain on-the -job experience and industry know-how, while training under the guidance of our experienced joiners.

Ultimately, on completion of their apprenticeship the successful candidate will be a qualified Craftsman Joiner capable of providing high quality timber joinery, Stairs, Kitchens, cabinet fitting and all general joinery for our commercial and industrial clients.

The type of person we are looking for in this role will:

- Make the most of all opportunities provided to them and learn to develop new skills.

- Demonstrate commitment to learning and a clear motivation to complete their apprenticeship.

- Have a good understanding of safety and how to maintain a safe workplace.

- Have good interpersonal and communication skills.

- Demonstrate an ability to manage their time appropriately.

- Have a clean drivers licence

- Be able to work well in a team, and on their own.

- Pre-trade qualifications would be an advantage.
