Safety at Bus Stops

School bus drivers have raised concerns that students are standing too close to the kerb when the school bus approaches to pick them up.

The drivers are understandably worried that the students will be hit, if not by the bus itself then by the mirrors.

We have also heard that students are walking on the edge of the kerb to get past buses, this is very dangerous.

Please talk to your student if they catch the bus and ask them not to wait so close to the edge of the kerb.

We want them all to arrive at school safely.
