Congratulations to Katie Boddy for coming second overall in the Canterbury West Coast Science Fair in Christchurch this weekend!
Last weekend, Katie Boddy came 2nd overall and 2nd in year 9-10 at the Niwa Canterbury-Westland Science and Technology Fair!
For her Earth Science project she experimented which substrate types would liquify in a simulation of an earthquake.
The fair was held at the University of Canterbury in the Ernest Rutherford Building, the Engineering Faculty. Katie has a strong interest in Earth Science, so will hopefully follow this work up with more on this theme for next year’s science fairs, and NCEA assessments.
