Ngā Rōpū Ako o te Kura (School Learning Groups)
We are seeing lovely connections between the children in their Ako Groups on Fridays and we are very proud of the way the older students are taking the lead in these groups. The current concept is 'He Kaitiaki Tātou'. Each group has found an area of the school to look after and keep tidy for the rest of the year. This Friday we are having a whole school hui to gather together and celebrate the idea of being kaitiaki. As part of that we are asking tamariki (who wish to) to wear green (or similar colours) this Friday.

We will be celebrating our cultures in several ways at the end of the term. In the weeks leading up to Te Rā Ahurea, children will be sharing their cultures in their Ako Groups on Fridays. Across the school, we will again be promoting the idea of Manaakitanga.

Road Patrol Term 4 Week 5
Each week we will publish the names of the children who will be on road patrol duty for the week. Please check and ensure you know when your child is on duty. Please be prompt to the crossing by 8.30 and 2.50 pm. Patrols and Jackets are kept in the corridor by the Library. It is your responsibility to swap if you are unable to do duty in advance and let Jacqueline know. We must have patrols out every day for all students and families’ safety. This is very important. Any queries contact Phil McIntosh – pmcintosh@kns.school.nz/Jacqueline Wee - jwee@kns.school.nz
