Level 1 hospitality students have been creating Poke bowls, ready for sale. Part of their learning within the class is being able to work under pressure in a simulated industry environment. The bowls were full of colour and tasty proteins finished with accompanied sauces

We turn donated fabric into Boomerang bags, which are available free in shops in Katikati.

Last term the Year 11 & 12 Drama classes were fortunate to be visited by Daryl Wrightson, an award winning comedian and performer who now works for Warner Brothers Studios.

It was once again a huge honour for our Head Students to be invited to speak at the Dawn services.

Katikati College put their core value of Manaakitanga (extending care and compassion for others) into practice on Monday 16 May for "Pink Shirt Day" making a stand to celebrate diversity within the school by encouraging kindness and inclusiveness so all members of the school community feel safe, valued and respected.
