My Dragon by Kavi and Sarfaraz

One strong, stormy night, I heard a banging outside but I thought it was

thunder. The next morning, I went into my backyard. Suddenly, I saw an egg in

my garden. I picked it up and took it to my bedroom. I hid it under my bed.

Then I went for my lunch and I took my water and iPhone because I thought I

would be up there for 1 hour. Suddenly the egg hatched. I was so surprised that

I messaged my Mum to tell her that there was a dragon. I even messaged

her a picture, but she still could not believe me. She thought the picture was AI. One Monday, I was wondering if I should bring my dragon to school or leave my

dragon at home. I decided that I will leave him at home. After school, the dragon was good and kept my room clean. I was expecting a big mess in my room, except for the lego on the floor, but it was clean. The dragon needed a name. I named him Junior Kavi. In 5 weeks, he had grown into a grown up so

now has to live outside. One night, he was so loud that I couldn’t sleep! The next day, I was asleep all day. I started to train him. We practiced his fire breathing and turning into a defence ball. He sent fire higher and higher. So high that the

enemies he was fighting couldn’t see him. Finally, it was time for a quick lunch break, then back to training. “Now we practice your roar,” I said. I taught him to use it for good. By Kavi

One stormy, dark night when the thunder roared and the rain poured,

I heard a mysterious sound. In the morning, I went to look in the bush.

I saw a striped and spotted egg. I thought, what is inside this egg?

Then it started to shake and crack! There was a dragon. It started to

look for its parents but he couldn’t find them so he thought I was his

parent. Soon he grew into a full sized dragon. I trained him to be

good. One night, he flew away and raised his own children. I wonder if I

will find his dragon children too? By Sarfaraz
