Congratulations to Tame Govaerts-Paul, who joins an elite group of students who have won the Salter Trophy at King's High School. 

Our last Blues Assembly of the year was held on Thursday afternoon where we celebrated the achievements of students in the fields of Arts and Culture.

Last night I was proud to watch two of our students accept awards from Otago Polytechnic for their hard work and effort to date at King’s High School. 

Congratulations to Sam who has been selected for the NZ Secondary Schools' Athletics Team.  He is one of 20 New Zealand athletes selected to compete in Australia in December.

The Bi-Annual Willows Cricket Dinner was held on Tuesday night at St.Bede's College in Christchurch and was attended by Mr Reddiex, Mr. Cushen, the 1st XI Coach, players Nathan Hastie and Beckham Wheeler-Greenall and myself.

 At the weekend, Dominic Fortes (9Jw) travelled to Wellington to compete in the Diving New Zealand National Skills Championships. He came 2nd in his age category on the 3m springboard and 3rd on the 1m springboard. Dominic would like to thank the School Council for their assistance.
