David Schack and Vitaliy Burzakov both won awards at the recent Celebrate Design Show at the Otago School of Design.

The School Library Association of New Zealand Aotearoa (SLANZA) presented Bridget with Life Membership at their conference last holidays.

On Monday Mrs Philippa Kruger and two other members of the Education Perfect Team spent an hour with Mrs Brooks’ Year 11 French class testing out new content. The boys enjoyed the activities, especially since they were rewarded with chocolate for any errors they found or recommendations they offered! 

Following on from their mirror-making task, the Year 13 Chemistry class is now making nylon. This is all a part of their study of industrial chemical processes.

Another opportunity for students to win House points took place last week with the rowing competition in the Quad.

Supervisors are required for the new digital exams being trialled at King's in 2017. 

Students often have questions about Student Loans, Allowances and Scholarships. There are lots of online tools which can assist them in finding out whether they are eligible for Allowances or Scholarships, which go a long way towards answering questions they may have.

NZQA Fees are now overdue. The price is $76.70 and $30 for each Scholarship subject, or $20 with Financial Assistance for families on low income or a benefit. Collect Financial Assistance forms from the Office. If this fee is not paid, NZQA will not issue your NCEA qualification sheet!
