As always, House Day is a great opportunity for students to get to know each other, their Group teachers and House Leaders. It is a highlight of the King's calendar, and this year did not disappoint.

Kia ora, one of King’s High School’s major focusses for 2021 is the continued fostering of a Positive Education philosophy which includes not only our staff and students, but also our wider school whanau and community.

Four King’s 1st XI cricketers got to test their skills in the nets, with several Black Caps in town on domestic duty for the ND Knights.

On Wednesday, Mrs. Jopson and Mrs. Cromarty took the Year 13 Biology students to the University of Otago to study the physiology of homeostasis with an emphasis on thermoregulation.

Our giant chess board is up and running. Thanks to the PTSA, students can now play the great thinking game outside in the Dunedin sunshine.

Students who are interested in Outward Bound, Spirit of Adventure or Duke of Edinburgh in 2021 are to see Mr Smith at his office for further information. These are amazing opportunities for students to experience.

The PTSA are holding a sausage sizzle this Tuesday at Athletics Day from 11.30am till 1.30pm! Sausages $2, Patties $3 – sauce, onions and bread included.
