We’re on again and it’s good to be back! The boys trundled in this week, arriving in all shapes and sizes and varying states of readiness to be back in schooling.

Beckham Wheeler-Greenall received the Man Of the Match Award for his performance in the NZ U19 Cricket team's win against Sri Lanka at the U19 World Cup in South Africa. He took a stunning catch and scored 80 runs in the team’s victory.

This year the Nationals were held in windy and wet conditions in Wellington. It started on Friday November 30th, with the qualifying rounds being held over two days and the finals on Sunday.

It was a stunning end to the season for our Touch team who competed in the National Schools' Tournament in Auckland, placing 7th out of 18 schools. Congratulations also to the boys who played in the Trans-Tasman Tournament in Australia.

The first few days have been a bit of a whirlwind for our Year 9 boys. There were teachers to meet, friends to make and a new campus to negotiate. With the help of our staff and Year 13 leaders, our Year 9s have made a positive, enthusiastic start to their schooling career at King's.

The School Council was pleased to be able to use some of last year’s Christmas Mufti Day funds to contribute five large hams to the Acts of Kindness Charitable Trust’s Christmas lunch.

Tuesday 11th February is our scheduled House Day.

Thursday 13th February is Goodman Evening for your Year 9 Students.
