Talented Singer in The Sound of Music
At the end of May, Year 12 singer/actor and performer Reva Grills performed in the Taieri The Sound of Music production.
The Taieri Musical production was very successful and popular, receiving standing ovations and sold out houses. Reva played Sister Berte, "a strict, stuck up, old nun" according to Reva.
Rehearsals went for 3 months. The season of 11 shows opened on Thursday May 14 and closed on Saturday May 23rd.
The large cast was directed by Denise Henderson, with musical director Steve Miles conducting an excellent 10-piece orchestra.
Reva also had a leading role as Emelia in the Logan Park Otago winning Shakespeare team.
