Jake Top 8 at National Final of Race Unity
Jacobi Kohu-Morris competed in the NZ semi-finals and final of the Race Unity Speech Competition in Auckland on May 16.
From 24 regional representatives, he was the only South Island contestant to make it into the top 8. He spoke persuasively on the topic that all New Zealanders are in the same waka together.
Jake and Grant McNaughton were the Otago first and second placegetters respectively in the regional competition.
