Term 4 continues to be busy with lots of students involved in a range of areas.

Fantastic wins to both Logan Park Junior Girls and Junior Boys Handball Tournament teams who won their respective competitions at the Local Dunedin OSSSA Handball Tournament on Monday 16th November.

A lot of stuff was happening in the LPHS Library in early Term 4.

This year the Otago Art Society hosted the Hope and Sons Art Awards.

Congratulations to Aubrey Alsop Mackie for achieving the top mark in New Zealand in the recent ICAS Maths competition.

On Thursday 29th October, Sam from Orokonui Ecosanctuary came to visit some of our year 9 students as part of their Ecology unit.

We said farewell our Year 13 students on Thursday 12 November.

This year Logan Park students Ava Reid and Ella Verberne, were part of a dance crew from RASA School of Dance called DFYNT.

We enjoyed our School Cross Country event in October.

Late in August, we were delighted to welcome Sean Hogan from the Dunedin study based at the University of Otago to speak to our year 12 and 13 Biology students.

Our Get2Go team are training hard for the nationals in December. Sir Edmund Hillary found that when he was in a difficult or dangerous situation, someone who could make everyone laugh would ease the tension.

Year 9 Latin students completed an ancient Roman-style scroll project, and composed original stories based on their own imaginations or on the characters in the Cambridge Latin textbook.

Roslyn McLean received an Excellence Award at the Celebrate Art Show in September.

Esther Tamati completed her year 13 Food Technology project where she developed a Romantic Food Bag using products from the Otago Farmers market which people could collect from the market.
