Football - Senior Girls First XI

Battling sickness and missing the usual lineup, we knew we had a tough week ahead. A challenging first two days saw the team go down three losses with big margins, but not without a good fight. On the third day, another player down to injury, the team rallied together and managed to get a convincing 5-1 win against Fiordland. On the final day, we played against a team who’d previously beaten us 5-0 and lost 2-1 - a huge improvement and testament to the determination of this team.

Overall, we placed 14th. An improved result from last year, and something to be proud of. Well done to the Junior players who stepped up and gave it their all. 

Congratulations to the Seniors, they have developed so much in such a short time. A great send-off for our Year 13s: Tsugumi, Arnica, Erin, Marnie, Bridie, Ren, Taya, Indi, and Cora.
