Karaoke Week is always a highlight of the Logan Park calendar and this year’s contest, held in Week Two of Term Three, was no exception.

The variety and talent on display was phenomenal, and the excitement steadily built over the week to the packed final showdown on Friday. Staff talent was also on display, as was the familiar sight of Mr Kain in full ABBA regalia. The judges had a difficult time in sorting the place-getters from the amazing finalists. The winners were:

1st Place - Briar Gager and Nisha Tilyard with ‘Toxic’

2nd Place - Maia Penhey with ‘Since You’ve Been Gone’

3rd Place - Grace Fagerlund and Frances Reid with ‘I Want It That Way’

And a special mention to Rangi Tipene who won the judges’ Special Award for his astonishing performance of ‘Single Ladies’ with Ms Kolppanen. This duo were disqualified from the official placings because Ms K was simply too good. Until next year!
