We enjoyed showcasing our school on Open Morning and Open Day during Term 2.

Attendance of Open Day was up 25% on last year and we had standing room only in the Auditorium for the 11am welcome. There was a happy buzz of conversations at all of the curriculum stations and in the library with Board, PTSA members and the Principal.

Honorary Life Membership Award

Congratulations to our wonderful school librarian Jenny Millar who was awarded Honorary Life Membership of SLANZA — School Library Association of New Zealand Aoteroa, Te Puna Whare Matauranga a Kura. 

The award recognises her tremendous contribution to our school library, and our young people, as well as her work at regional and national level. She is the first person from Otago to receive this award.
