Henry Eden-Mann and Bill Campbell won their divisions in the Junior Robocup Regional Competition in June.

Jayden Jesudhass and his partner Talia Ogier (Bayfield High) were winners of the Mixed Doubles Plate at the South Island/ Otago U15's Badminton Tournament in June.

Term 2 saw the Biology classes out of the school for a number of trips.

At the end of Term 2 we farewelled a number of international leavers before our new arrivals came in Term 3.

Student Council organised an ideas facilitation session with The Valley Project in Term 2.

Our Charities group has been busy in Term 2 with a number of initiatives.

In the first semester, Digital Technology junior students were offered a Virtual Reality (VR) experience first-hand – and they loved it.

In June Senior Physics students and students from the Science Club enjoyed a lively talk and discussion about the LIGO project based in the USA, which is able to detect and measure Gravitational waves.

In Term 2 both Year 9 Art classes enjoyed tours and workshops at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery with the amazing education officer John Neumegen.

Over a couple of weeks at the end of Term 2, the Art Prefects organized a workshop for year 9's and 10's.

2018 was a very good year for Chess at Logan Park. Historically the school Chess Club has met just on Friday lunchtimes but this year seemed to be every interval and lunchtime, mainly led by the Year 10 students.

Congratulations to our awesome choir and conductor Hana Fahy, for winning a top award at the Big Sing event in June.

Term 2 was a busy time on the sporting front.

The Learning and Support Class competed in the Special Olympics soccer event held at the Edgar Centre in June. There was a large turnout from schools competing from all over Otago.
