We had great weather for our annual team-building House Days at various Dunedin beaches.

In February we celebrated our outstanding academic successes in NCEA exams.

Our School Head Prefects for Logan Park were announced at our Senior Prizegiving at the end of 2020.

Congratulations to Tui Kaitai-Martin and Laura Canton for their speeches in the Rotary 4-Way Speech competition in February.

It was a stunning day at Challenge Wanaka/Otago Secondary School Triathlon Championships on Thursday 18th February.

In January, 3 of our students were selected to attend the Rotary National Science and Technology Forum in Auckland.

Our school prefects were announced in assembly in March.

A number of our students were awarded top university scholarships at the end of 2020.

We have started the year with a fantastic bunch of library prefects; Laura Canton, Isabel McMillan, Shannon Westworth and Kaitaia Wiseman.

We were pleased with our overall NCEA results from 2020.

The Yr 13 Physical Education class visited the University of Otago’s School of Physical Education, Sport and Exercise Sciences in February.

Every Wednesday our Year 11 and 12 French students get to try out French cooking - cakes were originally prepared at home and brought to class, but later we got to cook these delicious treats ourselves.

The Korean tea ceremony is a part of traditional Korean culture. It includes dressing up in a hanbok (traditional Korean dress), drinking some green tea and having some small snacks with it.

This year we welcome back a number of players as well as some new faces with 2 senior teams and 1 junior team.

We enjoyed our mihi whakatau to welcome all the new students and staff to Logan Park at the start of 2021.

Leilani Baeumer competed in the Southern Regional Surf Life Saving Championships, held in Christchurch at the end of February.

Under the guidance of our new Art and Painting teacher Brigid Allan, Learning Support students Ben and Zane were hard at work creating a collage based on their interests.

We have had some great numbers sign up this year for boys futsal.

Dr Thompson won a national Service to Sport Award in February.

The first of our Year 10 classes enjoyed building confidence, outdoor adventures and experiences at Tautuku in the beautiful Catlins area in February.
