Six shows, 64 speaking parts, singing, dancing, acting, stunning masks and set. Rakinui students, their teachers and other staff loved it all. Here are some of the thoughts from those involved and those who watched.

My family who watched it thought Animal Farm production was very professional. Arabella

Everyone contributed which made the show incredible. Tessa

People grew confidence throughout the process and lots of people got speaking lines which was cool. Isaac

The technicians did a really good job on the lighting and sound. Tayne

There was a lot of excitement, enthusiasm and contribution which made being part of the play even better. Eva

Jasper was very scary as a dog when he barked at Luca the piglet. Aabha

It gave everybody a good opportunity to try out theatre. Marlo

Since there were 64 speaking parts, everybody was included some way or other. Lada

We put this together in ten days and it turned out to be great. Amy

The masks were amazing. Angharad

The masks were detailed and fit the people who wore them and helped them feel like they were that character. Ari

Napoleon and his dogs were extremely frightening. Aabha

I loved the show especially the costumes  The thing that was so interesting was when the mouse ran on to the stage and said "I found Boxer.  He's not moving and I think he's dead. "Sad, sad, sad" said the horse.  It was amazing.    Ella C

I liked the costumes.  My favourite costume was the chicks and the cats and the NZ birds.  I liked the show.  When I got into the hall there was lots of straw on the ground.  Some bits of the show I felt scared. i think the singing bits were beautiful.  I liked the dancing.   Hettie T
