A teacher in New Zealand has set up a way for 100 schools to chat and share work about a book called Holes......

For seven weeks, Raupo will be focusing on the book, Holes. Each week, we are given an explorer with activities, such as; making maps, research, and a set of ten questions.

The book, Holes, is based around a boy called Stanley. It seems that he is always in the wrong place, at the wrong time.  And when he gets in trouble with the law, he has two options; to go to jail, or to go to Camp Green Lake, he chooses Camp Green Lake, where they believe, digging a hole will turn a bad person into a good person.

At the end of each week, Raupo and 99 other schools,  go onto Twitter and tweet to each other. They answer ten questions from the weekly explorer, and share their work.

When online, the Chapter Chat programme gives us goals such as; liking someone's work, or starting up a conversation about the book with somebody from a different school.

Everyone in Raupo are enjoying this very much. We all recommend the book Holes to you too.
