What an outstanding result!  After two first placings through the first challenge and then the semi finals, our year 5/6 team of Alex, Tashi, Tessa and Rowan from Raupo achieved 2nd place at the  finals held at Heaton Intermediate on Wednesday.  They had to design a structure and build a helicopter which would be able to be moved around within the space, pick up and move an object, no easy task under time pressure.  The ability of this group to work together, think outside the box, communicate, collaborate and cooperate was outstanding and awesome to watch.  Up against 12 other schools in the finals the Lyttelton team can be very proud of their results and the way they worked as a strong team.
